4 Adjustment of the velocity profile and the PI Regulators
The velocity profiles and the speed and position regulators can be adjusted online as the
system is operating. Changes in the velocity profile settings will take effect during the
next request to make the desired position move. Changes in the speed and position
regulators take effect instantly.
4.1 Using COMIBSCOPE
The program COMBISCOPE can be used to monitor the speed and torque profile of the
motor as the position moves are made. If you are running COMBIVIS 5.1or higher you
can select the COMBISCOPE program by moving your cursor to the menu bar and
selecting
View then Inverter Scope. If you do not have COMBIVIS 5.1 you may
download the unregistered version from our web site at www.kebco.com.
Once the COMBISCOPE program is running, you may select one of the channels A…D
for the mode of operation you would like. After selecting the channels, select the mode
button and choose the offline mode as shown in Fig.1. This means the data will be
sampled and stored in the inverter. After the memory is full, the data will then be
uploaded to the computer. Next select the offline button. You can now set your time
base, trigger source, and trigger position as shown in Fig.2. Finally, set your channels
A…D to the parameter group you would like as shown in Fig.3 and then select the
parameter from that group as shown in fig.4 that should be displayed as a scope trace in
COMBISCOPE.
