Once the parameters have been adjusted in the parameter list, the list can be loaded
into the drive using the download function of the COMBIVIS program. Follow the
instructions provided with COMBIVIS to send the parameter data to the drive.

5. The drive can now be enabled to perform a test run. Activate terminal 1 to enable the

drive. Turn on automatic mode (terminal 3 on). Give a start signal at terminal 2 and
the system should begin the search for the reference point. When the left limit switch
is opened, the motor will reverse direction and back off the limit switch until the switch
closes again. At this point the system will stop and wait for the next command.

6. Select the desired position using terminals 6 and 7 and give a start signal to terminal

2. The system should move to the selected position. The drive will confirm the
position was reached by turning on digital output 1 (terminal 8).

Once the positions are established, the velocity profile and the speed and position
regulators should be adjusted. This process is best handled with the COMBISCOPE
program (it is a sub program of COMBIVIS). Refer to section 4 to make these
adjustments.
