Configuration
This chapter describes the necessary configuration for correct operation of
the client charging stations. The following steps are required:
●
Sett DIP switch 2.5 on the client charging station.
●
Configuration (via web interface or using USB stick).
Depending on the network configuration, it may be necessary to enable the
DHCP server on the KeContact M20.
7.1
Enabling the DHCP server
To simplify the setup of a charging network, the KeContact M20 can be con-
figured as a DHCP server. This function is required for the network configu-
ration if the KeContact M20 (master) and a client are connected directly or if
a network connection is implemented via switch.
The DHCP server is disabled in the delivery state and can be enabled via
the web interface (see
The following tools are required for configuration via USB stick:

An empty USB stick formatted with FAT32.
●
A PC.
In addition, the settings that allow the configuration to be read out and im-
ported must be activated in the web interface (under "Configuration" - "De-
vice"):

Allow USB init
": Allows the configuration to be read out. This setting
must be activated at the master, which provides the configuration.

Allow USB config
": Allows the import of the configuration. This setting
must be activated at the master to which the configuration is transferred.
To enable the DHCP server via USB stick, the following steps are neces-
sary:

Reading out configuration

Adapting the configuration file

Importing configuration
7.1.1
Read out configuration
To read out the configuration, proceed as follows:
1) Plug the USB stick into the KeContact M20. It must be ready for opera-
tion and already configured.
2) Transfer of the configuration is started automatically. The status LED
also flashes and soft audible signals are emitted at longer intervals.
