Basic operation

Setting/canceling screen lock

You can use the screen lock to prevent erroneous operation.

◎ While the screen is locked, the display does not appear even if

you touch the touch panel.

■ To set the screen lock

When no operation is performed in certain period of time, the
terminal automatically goes into sleep mode and the screen
is locked.
You can also lock the screen immediately by pressing

C

.

■ To release the screen lock

Press

C

or

A

, and then slide on the screen right or

left.

Turning on the screen lock authentication

You can lock the screen, so other people cannot use it, by
setting an authentication pattern/code/password to release
the lock.

In the home screen, → "Settings"

" Security" → Mark "Screen lock auth"

A screen for inputting the lock release code is displayed.

Input the lock release code → "OK"

• When you purchase the terminal, the lock release code is

"1234". When you input the lock release code for the first
time, input "1234".

Using Anshin Security Pack

KDDI provides various security functions and supporting
services using "3LM", "リモートサポート (Remote support)",
"ウイルスバスター™ モバイル for au (VirusBuster Mobile for au
software)".
• Anshin Security Pack is charged service.

Using 3LM

In case of loss or theft, you can lock or unlock your IS12F
remotely. You can also search your IS12F using its location
information from a computer.

In the home screen,

→ "auお客さまサポート (au Customer Support)"
→ "サポート＆サービス (Support and service)"
→ "安心セキュリティパック (Anshin Security
Pack)" → "3LM Security" → "For Consumer"

Terms of Service appears when you activate for the first
time. Check the term and tap "I Accept" → "Activate".
If you use auお客様サポート for the first time, the explanation
screen on the au Customer Support appears. Tap "同意す
る (I accept)" →Set your Support ID and password for au
Customer Support→"アプリを利用する (Use application)" to
select "サポート＆サービス (Support and service)".

◎ Note that KDDI is not liable for any damage that may occur as a

result of provided GPS information.

◎ If "Use GPS satellites" is turned off, location information is not

sent.
