Malfunctions

8.1

Error messages

The user guidance system controlled by a microprocessor helps you operate the

KEY Lasers 3+ / III upgraded with a touchscreen. In addition, there are numerous

automatic self tests incorporated in the unit that control the device.

For example, lamp age and misadjustment are automatically compensated by

means of a microprocessor controlled energy regulation with self adjustment.

If the microprocessor determines malfunctions, they are located and shown on the

touchscreen.

A distinction is drawn between warnings and malfunctions.

Warnings are displayed on the touchscreen with the word WARNING, and mal‐

functions are displayed with the word MALFUNCTION.

8.2

Warning

If the spray water supply is becoming empty during operation, the message on the

touchscreen only appears after leaving Ready mode.

Press the continuing key to continue working Ready mode.

Note
The spray reservoir should be refilled as soon as possible since the spray water

level will only be checked the next time the device is turned on.

8.3

Malfunctions

The unit automatically turns off 30 seconds after a malfunction is displayed on the

touchscreen.
