When the laser pulse trigger is actuated in Ready mode, laser pulses are only trig‐
gered if altered tooth substance is detected; that is, when the measured fluores‐
cence is above the set threshold.
Once the measured fluorescence falls below the threshold, the laser pulses stop.

Setting the threshold
To work in feedback mode, you first need to set a threshold. This threshold indicates
a limit above which laser pulses are emitted in Ready mode when the laser pulse
trigger is pressed. No laser pulses are emitted as long as the threshold is not ex‐
ceeded.
The numerical display shows the currently saved threshold.
Press the threshold key to open the threshold menu.
Press the arrow key to increase the threshold by one value.
Note
Apply continuous pressure to the key to continuously change the values.
