8. Operation

Attention!
Regulations for prevention of accidents
are to be observed!
Beware!
The equipment is intended for the inset
of motors with a very high speed. Befo-
re commencing operation, one has to
check if operation data of the motor
correspond with the converter. The in-
formation given by the manufacturer of
the tools used (drill, abrasive wheel,
milling cutter, etc) also have to be con-
sidered. If this is not taken into ac-
count, any liability will be excluded.
8.1 Normal mode "A"
(d.c. braking mode)
8.1.1 Set the mains switch to "I"
ON, whereupon the motor spindle con-
nected is first braked with d.c. current
and the yellow LED "Overload"
lights up briefly. Wait until ".0" appears
on the speed indication
(yellow LED
extinguishes).
8.1.2 Keep Stop button depres-
sed and with the speed selector se-
lect the desired speed (shown on the
speed indication
).
8.1.3 Start the motor spindle con-
nected with the Start button . It will
run up to the speed selected. Green
LED "Operation"
lights.
8.1.4 Switch off the motor spindle
with the Stop button . It is braked
with d.c. current. The yellow LED
"Overload"
lights and then extingui-
shes together with the green LED
"Operation"
. The speed indication
shows ".0".
8. Bedienung

Achtung!
Unfallverhütungs-Vorschriften sind zu
beachten!
Vorsicht!
Gerät ist für den Einsatz von Motoren
mit sehr hoher Umdrehungszahl be-
stimmt. Vor Erstinbetriebnahme sind
die Betriebsdaten des Motors auf
Übereinstimmung mit dem Umrichter
zu prüfen. Auch sind die Herstelleran-
gaben der verwendeten Werkzeuge
(Bohrer, Schleifkörper, Fräser usw.)
mit diesen zu überprüfen. Bei Nichtbe-
achtung wird jegliche Haftung abge-
lehnt.
8.1 Normal-Betrieb "A"
(Gleichstrom-Bremsbetrieb)
8.1.1 Durch Drücken des Netzschal-
ters auf "I" EIN wird die angeschlos-
sene Motor-Spindel zuerst mit Gleich-
strom abgebremst und die gelbe LED
"Überlast"
leuchtet kurzzeitig auf.
Abwarten bis ".0" an Drehzahl-Anzeige
angezeigt wird (gelbe LED er-
lischt).
8.1.2 Taster Stop gedrückt halten
und mittels Drehzahl-Vorwahl ge-
wünschte Drehzahl vorwählen (in Dreh-
zahl-Anzeige
ablesbar).
8.1.3 Mit Taster Start wird ange-
schlossene Motor-Spindel gestartet
und läuft bis zur voreingestellten Dreh-
zahl hoch. Grüne LED "Betrieb"
leuchtet auf.
8.1.4 Mit Taster Stop wird die an-
geschlossene Motor-Spindel abge-
schaltet und mit Gleichstrom abge-
bremst. Gelbe LED "Überlast"
leuch-
tet auf und erlischt zusammen mit grü-
ner LED "Betrieb"
. In Drehzahl-An-
zeige wird ".0" angezeigt.
