2 Servicing, daily | 2.1 Cleaning the housing and workspace

2 Servicing, daily

Note

During all servicing and cleaning work in the workspace, the air purge system (la‐

ser-spindle) must be switched on
 

Daily servicing is indicated briefly by a coloured symbol on the ARCTICA desktop.

Note

Open the protective door, press the cleaning button and select "Switch on" for the

compressed air for cleaning

2.1 Cleaning the housing and workspace

▶ Vacuum the interior of the machine daily or clean it with a paintbrush.

▶ Wipe down the outer housing and protective door with a dry, lint-free cloth.

▶ If needed, remove soiling on the outer housing and on the outside of the protec‐

tive door with a wet cloth and warm clear water, soapy water or KaVo plastics

cleaner (0.611.0030).

▶ If needed, remove soiling on the inside of the protective door with a wet cloth and

warm clear water or KaVo plastics cleaner (0.611.0030).

2.2 Emptying and cleaning the chip tray

▶ Remove the chip tray from the workspace and empty it.

▶ Take out the filter holder ② and chip sieve filter ③ from the chip tray ④.
