1 General instructions
Requirement
Read these instructions prior to first use to avoid misuse and prevent damage.

1.1 Target group
Personnel
▶ Only employ specialist personnel that are capable of detecting risks and avoiding
potential hazards by reason of their training and expertise. Qualified for operation
are:
▪ Dental practitioners trained in accordance with KaVo specifications
▪ Dental technician
▪ Persons with similar professions
▪ Specialists possessing a technical manufacturing background
▶ Ensure that your personnel has read these instructions for use, especially the
chapter "Safety" and understood everything.
▶ Provide your personnel with the necessary personal safety equipment (safety
goggles and gloves) and ensure that they also wear this safety equipment during
the use of the laboratory drives.
1.2 Symbols in these Servicing Instructions
1.2.1 Hazard levels
The warning and safety notes in this document must be observed to prevent personal
injury and material damage. The warning notes are designated as shown below:
