Pull the trigger 

Pull the trigger 

This way the stretcher stays with the folded safety rail: 

 

 

 

 

 

The safety rail can be folded in the width direction too. You must  pull the two triggers at 
same time to open the safety rail in width direction.  Perform the same operation on both
