2.3. Operating and handling the stretcher
2.3.1. Installing the battery
The first step when working with SILVER is to install the 24 V battery which power the
system. To do this, we place the battery opposite their housings at the front-right of the
stretcher and push until it locks.
To remove the battery, press the small trigger located on the lower left-hand side and
pull carefully.
The battery life under normal circumstances (from 80 to 120 kg load) should be about
20 cycles.
Information note:
The front part of the stretcher corresponds to the head part.
Batteries are delivered with a minimum charge. Prior to operating the bed we charge the
batteries with the charger supplied, until the LED turns green it. After that we can work
normally.
