FAULT IDENTIFICATION AND ELIMINATION

The following table shows a list of common faults. If any optional items of equipment show defects (e.g. air conditioning etc.), please consult the
operating instructions of the equipment in question.
Fault
Smell of gas, usually high gas consumption
No gas supply to equipment
Gas cooker will not ignite, when button is
released, flame goes out.
Possible cause
Gas system leaking
Gas bottle valve closed
Shutoff valve in supply line closed
Outside temperature too low, gas bottles
filled with butane
Gas equipment faulty
Ignition safety device defective
Remedy
Open doors and windows and switch off
entire gas equipment. Avoid any actions
which could cause sparks (e.g. open fires,
smoking or switching electrical switches
on/off). Contact specialist repair shop and
have system checked for leaks.
Open gas bottle valve
Open shutoff valve
In winter always use pure propane gas
(operates down to -32°C
