left repeater lights. Fold the lights into the
bumper and fix them with the knurled screws.
The cable and plug of the repeaters are
secured behind the bumper with a strap
when not in use.
Roof rack*
Carrier rails for a load carrying system are let
into the roof of your Karmann mobile home.
For assembly purposes, the fixing points of
the rack are simply inserted into the round
slots in the rails and pushed into the
desired position.
Then the fixing screws are tightened.
Note
Please note that the maximum load for the
roof is max. 150 kg.

The bicycle rack is mounted on the
extendible bumper with the help of four
safety bolts A. In order to open the function
flap at the rear of the vehicle, remove the
safety bolts on the vehicle and hinge the rack
backwards.
The bumper is locked in both extended and
retracted positions by means of securing pins
B. The illustration shows the securing pin
when loosened. In order to lock the bumper,
turn the pin handle by 180 degrees. The pin
must lock into the recesses in the bumper.
Before pushing in the bumper, loosen the
knurled screws which secure the right and

Do not fold back the carrier when
loaded.
Check that the securing pins are
clicked into place each time you
extend and retract the bumper.
The repeater light plug has to be
disconnected when the bumper is
retracted.
