8.2. Installing the license key
To install a new license key through the Snapin for Novell ConsoleOne,
do the following:
1. In
the
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5
namespace in the console tree,
select the server whose license you wish to renew. Open the
shortcut menu and select the
Properties
item.
2. In the next window,
Kaspersky Anti-Virus on <Server name>,
select the
General
tab.
3. Click
the
Register the license key
button.
To install a new license key using the web management module,
1. In
the
Kaspersky Anti-Virus 5.5
namespace, select a server for
which you want to renew the license. Open the shortcut menu and
click the
Register the license key
option.
This will open the
Kaspersky AV 5.5 for Novell Netware License Keys
window
(see Figure 36) with a list of license keys installed on this server. The following
information is displayed for each key:
•
File name
– name of the license key file.
•
Serial number
.
•
Number of servers
– number of Novell servers in the LAN on
which Kaspersky Anti-Virus applications can be running at the
same time.
•
Period of validity
– license expiry date.
•
Product Name
– product name.
•
Type
– the type of installed key, e.g. commercial, trial etc.
