8.2 Cancelling the errors in the Service-Menu
Press the grey Service-Button („Ser“) and confirm the selection by pressing the green Standby-
Button. To cancel the saved alarms please press and hold the grey Service-Button, all errors will
be cancelled. The respective error flashes during the cancelling for 3 seconds.
8.3 EEP error
The EEP error indicates that the data saved in the power-failure-proof memory are no longer
consistent.
Causes for this could be
n
Software update has been performed
n
Power failure during a write access to the power-failure-proof memory
n
Hardware error
The initialisation of the power-failure-proof memory is done by simultaneously holding down
the „Standby“ and „Service“ buttons while the mains supply of the device is switched on. First,
„EEP“ is displayed. When „EEP“ goes out and the unit starts normally, the buttons can be re-
leased. The parameters are initialised with default values, so the parameters have to be adap-
ted to the real device.
