Optical Block

The optical block section contains four adjustments:

•

Zoom Sensor

•

Infinity Sensor

•

FC Correction

•

Zoom Linearity

Preparation

Each adjustment requires the JVC Infinity Adjustment Lens with the Focus Chart installed,
attached to the unit. The following procedure describes the JVC Infinity Adjustment Lens
setup.

1.

Install the Focus Block on the end of the JVC Infinity Adjustment Lens.

2.

Install the Focus Chart into the threaded end of the Focus Block.

3.

Attach the Adapter Ring to the filter threads of the camera lens. Be careful,
it is easy to cross thread the Adapter Ring when attaching it to the unit.

4.

Then attach the Infinity Adjustment Lens to the Adapter Ring.
