You can listen to the sound during record-
ing.
- “HIGH”: For high speed recording. The
recoding speed is up to 4 times faster than
normal speed recording, depending on the
selected file format and transfer rate.
NOTE
• If you have selected “HQ REC” for the transfer
rate, selecting “HIGH” has no effect. When you
record sound, the actual recording speed is the
same as that of normal playback and “X1 ONLY”
appears in the display window.

- “T.MARK”: For time interval marking. Track
marks are recorded every 5 minutes.
- “A.MARK”: For automatic marking. Track
marks are recorded when a 3 second inter-
val is detected. (You can also create track
marks by pressing [ENTER/SET] during
recording.)
