Seat Belt

WARNING!

Travelling without a seat belt increases the risk of injury.

Accidents or personal injury can result if the seat belt is not worn or is modified.

u

Always put the seat belt on before starting the industrial truck.

u

Do not modify the seat belt.

u

Damaged or non-operational seat belts must be replaced by trained personnel.

u

Seat belts must always be replaced after an accident.

u

Only original spare parts must be used for retrofits or repairs.

u

Report any defects immediately to your supervisor.

u

Remove the truck from service until a functional seat belt has been fitted.

Z

Protect the seat belt from contamination (e.g. cover it when the truck is idle) and
clean it regularly. Frozen belt locks or pulleys must be thawed out and dried to
prevent them from freezing up again.
The temperature of the warm air should not 60 °C!

Putting on the seat belt
Procedure

• Sit on the driver's seat so that your back

is resting against the backrest.

• Pull the seat belt smoothly out of the reel.
• Place the seat belt tight against your

body. Take care not to twist it.

• Engage the lock tongue (95) in the lock

(94).

The seat belt is now in place

Taking off the seat belt
Procedure

• After using the seat belt, press the red button on the belt.
• Guide the lock tongue (95) manually back into the reel.

The seat belt is now removed.

Starting the industrial truck on steep slopes

The automatic blocking system locks the belt in the retractor when the truck is
positioned on a steep slope. This prevents the belt from being pulled out of the
retractor.
