General:

Low battery voltage.
Functionality can only be ensured
for a short time.

Fit a new battery.

Low battery voltage.
Operating from electrical supply:
wrong voltage.

Fit a new battery.
Check power supply and replace if
necessary.
If the error persists, then the hand-held meter
is faulty.

No display

Low battery voltage.
Operating from electrical supply:
power supply is faulty or wrong
voltage/polarity.
Instrument error or fault.

Fit a new battery.
Check power supply and replace if
necessary.
Remove battery or power supply – wait for 5
seconds – reconnect.
If the error persists, then the hand-held meter
is faulty.

Gone beyond the measurement
range. Defect in combination
electrode, temperature sensor or
connecting cable.

Check combination electrode, temperature
sensor and connecting cable, and replace if
necessary.

Gone below measurement range.
Defect in combination electrode,
temperature sensor or cable.

Check combination electrode, temperature
sensor and connecting cable, and replace if
necessary.

Instrument error.

Switch off the hand-held meter, and switch
on again after 5 seconds.
If the error persists, then the hand-held meter
is faulty.

Only for temperature measurement (thEr)

No temperature sensor
connected.
Temperature sensor is faulty.

Connect/replace the temperature sensor.

Value could not be
calculated.

Outside the permissible temperature
compensation range (0 to 105°C) or outside
the permissible measurement range (Err.1 or
Err.2).

Only for pH measurement:
