3.7
Manual temperature setting for operation without a
temperature sensor
For precise measurement of pH, mV
H
or rH, the hand-held meter must know
the temperature of the medium being measured.
The ideal solution is temperature measurement by a Pt100 temperature sensor
connected to the hand-held meter. The temperature sensor is detected as
soon as it is connected, and its signal is automatically taken into account for
calculating the measured value (ATC: automatic temperature compensation).
If no Pt100 temperature sensor is available, the temperature can be entered by
hand.
✱
Briefly press the
key.
✱
Use the
or
key to set the temperature for the measured medium.
✱
Confirm the entry with the
key.
3.8
Manual pH setting for the rH measurement function
For exact measurement of rH, the hand-held meter must know the
temperature and pH of the medium being measured. The hand-held meter can
also measure the rH value for a liquid when the temperature and pH values are
entered manually.
✱
Start configuration.
✱
Select the parameter “rH”.
✱
Briefly press the
key.
The hand-held meter expects a manual temperature entry, see above.
✱
Briefly press the
key again.
The hand-held meter expects a manual pH entry.
