dust, e.g:

– type of material.

– extraction (point extraction at source).

– correct adjustment of hoods, shields and funnels.

– function and operation of dust extraction equipment

that must be started before working (if available).

The following general conditions must also be satisfied.

lighting or spotlighting of the actual workplace.

F.  Both raw material and cut material must be stored close to

the operator's normal working position.

G.  The operator must also follow the instructions below:

– Never work with hands near the saw blade. When a

combined crosscut saw/bench circular saw is used as a
bench circular saw, a feeding block or feeding pin must
be used without exception to move the workpiece
towards the blade.

H.  Always wear suitable personal safety equipment. Depending

on the working conditions, this can include:

– ear protection to avoid hearing impairment.

– respiratory protection to reduce the risk of dust

inhalation.

– safety gloves when saw blades have to be handled

(as far as possible, saw blades must be transported
and handled with blade holders).

is in bench saw position.

J.  Switch off the product and pull out the plug before leaving

the product unsupervised.

K.  Report any faults on the product, including faults in guards

and repairing saw blades.

N.  Select a suitable splitting knife on the basis of the actual

blade thickness when using a combined crosscut saw/bench
circular saw in the bench saw position.

O.  Never exceed the maximum permitted speed specified on the

saw blade.

P.  Only use correctly sharpened and set saw blades.
Q.  Check that any spacers and spindle rings are suitable for the

purpose and conform to the manufacturer's instructions.

R.  Never remove sawn off pieces or other parts of the workpiece

from the sawing area while the product is in operation or the
saw blade is rotating, without using a feeding pin.

S.  Make sure that all guards and other safety devices are in

place, are working correctly and are in good condition.

     NOTE:
When starting the product there may be a temporary voltage
drop in the mains supply, which could affect other equipment.
Such interference does not normally occur if the impedance in
the mains supply Zmax is less than 0.317 ohm. Contact your
electricity supplier for more information.

not blow off the dust.

     NOTE:
