Manual operation

The appliance can be operated using the controls at the top right of the unit or using the supplied
remote control.

The standby button at the top right of the decorative fire must be in the ON position.

Press the O/I button once to turn on the appliance and the flame effect. A red lamp indicates that
this function is switched on. Hold down the O/I button for 3 seconds to activate dimmer mode.

Press the 900 W button once to select low heat. Press twice to deselect heating.

Press the 1800 W button once to select high heat. Press twice to deselect heating.
Remote control

The standby button at the top right of the decorative fire must be in the ON position.

It takes a little while for the receiver to react. Do NOT press the buttons more than once in the
space of two seconds, as this can cause an operating defect.

Press the ON/OFF button on the remote control once to turn on/off the appliance and the flame
effect.

Press the 900 W button once to select low heat. Press twice to deselect heating.

Press the 1800 W button once to select high heat. Press twice to deselect heating.

Press the DIMMER button once to activate dimmer mode.
Overheat protection

The overheat protection feature turns the fire off if it overheats, for example due to insufficient
ventilation. For safety reasons, the decorative fire is NOT reset automatically.

To reset the decorative fire, unplug the power cord from the wall socket and wait for 15 minutes.
Connect the power cord again and turn on the appliance.
MAINTENANCE
Cleaning
NOTE: Always unplug the power cord before cleaning.

Clean the appliance with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive agents.

Clean the glass carefully with a soft cloth. Do NOT use window polish or similar.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Fault Action
Appliance does not work/Fan not operating. Check/replace fuse.
Check whether the overheat protection has
tripped.
The flame effect does not work. Check/replace bulb.
