Safety devices and warning labels
CAUTION
In addition, be aware that the safety devices such as the "eye protection cover" and "finger guard"
are sometimes omitted in the sketches, illustrations and figures included in the Instruction Manual
for the explanation's sake. In the practical use, never remove those safety devices.
Rotational direction label
This label warns the
direction of rotation of
sewing machine.
Warning label
against pinching
This label warns
that there is a risk
of contact between
human body and
corner knife.
Watch-your-
head label
This label warns
that there is a risk
of contact between
the part which pro-
trudes from ma-
chine and human
body when binder
device stays open.
Power switch
This switch is used for
disconnecting the power
unit of the sewing ma-
chine from the power sup-
ply. It is also used as the
emergency stop switch.
Safety pipe
This pipe prevents con-
tact between stacker
and human body when
the former operates.
