not lit
Failed to read SIM Card
Ensure the SIM card is inserted in the
correct orientation. Test the SIM card in
another mobile device to ensure it is
working correctly.
Check GPRS is turned on by sending
GPRSSET# and reading the DATA LINK
setting state
Blue light flashing
Cannot get GPS fix
Ensure there is no metal blocking the
GPS unit.
Move to a location that has direct line of
sight path to the sky.
No lights on
Sleep mode / No 12 volt
power
Send an SMS to the GPS or move the
vehicle to wake the GPS up.
Ensure there is 12 volt power and a
suitable ground for the GPS Tracker.
Cannot get tracking data
to online portal
Configuration
Ensure that all the Advanced settings
are correct for the server you are using.
Contact the Server or App provided if
you are still experiencing difficulty and
ensure the settings in the GPS match the
settings they provide to you.
Unable to receive SMS
from GPS unit
Exhausted Credit
This is surprisingly common! Ensure your
SIM card is working correctly by placing
into a phone and sending a test sms to
and from it.
Ensure you have sufficient credit if you
are using a Pre-Paid service. It is
worthwhile setting a reminder to
recharge your SIM card at the required
interval.
