Set a password for controlling the tracker
It is recommended once you have configured the tracker that a password is set for the unit. This
password needs to be input with every command sent, hence only doing it once you have
completed setup and won’t be sending as many commands to the tracker.
Send an SMS with “
PWDSW,ON#
”
The GPS will reply “setting OK. Operation Password: ON”. The password setting is now active.
The default password is 000000.
Send an SMS with “PASSWORD,CURRENTPASSWORD,NEWPASSWORD#” (eg
“PASSWORD,000000,1234#” to set your password.

Your password can be 1-19 characters and a mix of numbers/
letters but keep it simple
as you have to type it in for each command sent

The GPS will reply “Successfully modify service password, new password is: <password
entered>.
The password must be include with every command after the function (eg “where,1234#” or
“timer,1234,1800,1800#” or “fence,1234,on,0,0,0,1,out,1#” where 1234 is the password you
set.
