1. Unpack the elements and visually inspect for any transport damage incurred after leaving our factory.
2. Depressurise the system before installation or maintenance is carried out!
3.
Remove the lid by unscrewing the five lid fixating screws.
4. Pull the saturated black element up in tower 2 and let the water drip out.
5. After most of the water has dripped out of the element, lift the saturated element out of tower 2 and place it in the
plastic bag included in the box.
6. Pull the saturated white element up in tower 1 and let the water drip out.
7. After most of the water has dripped out of the element, lift the saturated element out of tower 1 and place it in the plastic
bag (on top of the black element).
8. Empty and clean the housing of any remaining condensate residue.
9. Insert the new white element in tower 1.
Note: Tower 1 is the tower with inlet connection.
10. Insert the new black element in tower 2.
Note: Tower 2 is the tower with Test drain and outlet connection.
11a. Fill the unit with clean water, until water flows out of the outlet point.
Tip: spraying water over the black element in tower 2 before filling the housing prevents carbon dust from spreading.
11b. Ensure the carbon element rests on the bottom of the tower by pushing (and holding) it down.
Push the element down until all the trapped air has escaped out of the element.
12. Replace the lid and tighten the five lid fixating screws.
Your condensate cleaner is ready for operation.
Tip: check unit daily for the first week to ensure your separator is operating successfully.
Tip: we suggest replacing both elements simultaneously!
