The machine will only transmit (using the TXD line) when the Data Terminal Ready
(DTR) line of the terminal or printer is enabled. This ensures that data is not transmitted
when the printer cannot receive it.
If you disable the DTR line once data transmission has begun, the machine will wait for 5
seconds for it to be enabled again. After this period the data transmission session will be
aborted.
The four audit fields associated to each product are described below:

The values of the lower line will reset to zero every time a ticket is printed.
At this address it is also possible to obtain audits and to program the machine using a
Jofemar J1xx card reader (with RS-232 communication). To do this:
•
Connect the card reader to the serial RS-232 connector.
•
Press key
to establish communication with the card reader. If the operation
is successful, the green LED on the card reader will light up.
•
Insert the programming card or accounting data card. Both card reader LED
lights will go on, indicating that data transmission is taking place. When the data
transmission is over, the green LED will go off and only the red LED will remain
on. When using a programming card, if the machine code does not coincide with
the code stored in the card, both LED’s will blink, to show there has been an
error.
•
If this happens, remove the card and the red LED will go off and the green LED
will go on.
•
Disconnect the card reader from the machine.
