Making chunky soup
1.
Add the Filter to the Jug, Soup End down.
The Filter should sit in the middle, over the
Blade.
2.
Chop all your solid ingredients into 2 – 3cm
pieces. Add them to the outer rim of the Jug
– do not place inside the Filter.
3.
Pour your liquid or stock into the Jug. All
liquids should be at room temperature.
4.
Check that your combined ingredients
exceed the Soup Min Line while not going
over the Soup Max Line.
5.
Fix on the Lid with the Measuring Cup
in place and press the On/Off button to
turn on.
6.
Press the Chunky Soup button to start
blending your soup. Your soup will take
approximately 25 - 30 minutes to blend
and cook. You can stop the cycle at any
time by pressing the On/Off button.
7.
The Soup Maker & Blender will emit a
beeping sound once the program has
finished. Your ready soup can be poured
straight from the Jug, but be careful when
removing the Lid and Filter as they may be
very hot. Hot steam may also emit from
the spout.
Using the reheat function
1.
Pour your cold soup into the Jug. Check
that your ingredients exceed the Water
Min Line while not going over the Water
Max Line.
2.
Fix on the Lid with the Measuring Cup
in place and press the On/Off button to
turn on.
3.
Press the Reheat button. Your food
should take 5 – 8 minutes to heat up.
While heating, the Soup Maker & Blender
will occasionally pulse blend to stir your
food, ensuring it is evenly cooked through.
4.
When your food is reheated, the Soup
Maker & Blender will emit a beeping
sound. Your reheated food can be poured
straight from the Jug, but be careful when
removing the Lid as it may be very hot.
Hot steam may also emit from the spout.
