Product Overview
PT1 Front Panel
A front view of the PT1 meter is shown in Figure 2. It features a touchscreen which displays information
such as results, VFL, test plans and setup.
The MTP/MPO output and receive panel is located on the front of the unit. The connectors are 12 fiber
MTP/APC male (SM) for the output and 12 fiber MTP/PC male (MM) for the receive. This allows the PT1
to test both SM and MM assemblies.
When testing assemblies with more than 12 fibers, fanout cables are required to connect from the PT1
output/receive to the DUT (Figure 10).
