Maintenance

Warning

•

Devices with malfunctioning lasers must be returned to the manufacturer for
repair.

Cleaning the Unit

Unplug the unit from the line power.

Clean the enclosure with a damp cloth.

Do not plug the unit back in until it is completely dry.

Cleaning the Output and Receive Connectors

Use a bulkhead inspection probe to inspect the output and receive connector end-faces for
contamination.

If needed, use an MTP/MPO in-bulkhead cleaning device.
