GENERAL INFORMATION

PT1 Polarity Tester Overview

The PT1 Polarity Tester is an easy-to-use instrument specifically designed to check the polarity of fiber-
optic cable assemblies. The PT1 can be built with up to 288 channels in one chassis or expanded to 432 if
needed.

The PT1 is equipped with a touchscreen interface to allow for one touch testing of typical pre-
programmed types A, B, C and custom profiles. Remote operation is possible via USB or Ethernet. Testing
can be performed with

JGR’s new XN1 Server

or with the included Polarity Test Software which allows

saving results to Excel.

The Visual Fault Locator (VFL) mode enables easy manual identification of any possible damaged or
crossed fiber.
