Channel-
This field determines which operating frequency will be used. The default
channel is set to Auto, so the router will choose the best channel automatically.
Encryption-
Select
ON
to enable password for 2.4GHz, and select
OFF
to disable
password for 2.4GHz.
Pass Phrase-
Create a password for the 2.4G wireless network.
Fast Roaming-
Enable this feature to stop the wireless signal from reaching devices
that are receiving poor WiFi signal, making wireless signal focus more on devices
within the router’s coverage.
8.2 WPS
Choose menu
“5G WLAN
→
WPS”
to configure the WPS settings for the wireless network
of 5GHz.
WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) Settings-
Select
ON
to enable WPS connection for
5G wireless network. This feature is disabled by default.
Connect a client device to the router using WPS function:
1.
Make sure the WPS feature of both client device and router is enabled.
2.
Press the WPS/Reset button on the back panel of the router.
3.
Press and hold the WPS button of the client device.
4.
When the WPS LED indicator of the client device turns solid on, it has successfully
connected to the router.
