7.1 CAN Interface
If the device is last in line in the bus topology a termination is required. The termination resistor
needs to be 120 Ohm and must be inserted between pin 2 and pin 4 of the CAN interface.

7.2 Serial Interface (COM)
The serial interface is only used for Modbus RTU.
There are no resistors for line termination and line polarization in the device. The device itself
does not need line polarization.
If a device in RS485 mode is last in line in the bus topology a termination is required. The termi-
nation resistor needs to be 120 Ohm and must be inserted between pin 3 and pin 7 of the serial
interface.
