CANio 500 Quickstart Manual, version 1.3
0x8210 The number of received data of a CAN message with
which process data were transmitted was too small:
bytes 3-7: not relevant
0x10
0x8140 There was previously a bus-off. The CANio 500 communi-
cates again with the CAN-bus:
bytes 3-7: not relevant
0x10
DAC specific errors:
0x2310 Overcurrent
– Alarm of an analog output:
bytes 3-
5: “DAC"
bytes 6-7: Status of all analog outputs
0x02
0x4200 Thermal shutdown
– Alarm of a DAC:
bytes 3-
5: “DAC"
bytes 6-7: Status of all analog outputs
0x08
0x5000 Communication error between microcontroller and DAC:
bytes 3-7: "SPIDA"
0x20
Configuration of the DACs failed:
bytes 3-7: "HWDAC"
General error status:
The general error status displays the status of the error categories. The error
categories are bit-encoded: 0 means free of errors, 1 not free of errors The
CANio 500 is free of errors if all bits are reset.
Supported error categories:
