Subject: Dismantling of the HD100
Refer to drawing 354 9103 for parts identification, or to the views integrated into the text.
Notes
Dismantling and re-assembly of the various parts must be performed in a clean space.
Parts which have been cleaned must be greased with a grease grade suitable for
underwater knuckle joints (e.g.: CASTROL SPHEEROL T6 grade NLG12 for wet
environment).

Procedure
Step Action
1.
Remove the upper protection: unscrew the 14 countersunk head screws M8x16 and
remove the protection plate(ref.: 9102965).
2.
Remove a back-up ROV handle: remove the locking pin ROV (ref.: 910 2729B) after
having removed the split pin size 2.5 x 32, remove the retaining screw (ref.: 910 2736),
and remove the two releasing ROV handles (ref.: 910 3203).
3.
Remove the acoustic actuator from the frame:
It is preferable to recover the acoustic actuator with his release system. After dismantling
the upper protection, choose one of the protection plate (ref.: 910 2964 D) and perform
the following operations:
On the rear part, remove the two CHC (M10x40 and M10x45) screws and remove the
spacer (ref.: 910 4230A).
On the front part, remove the CHC M10x35 screw and remove the seven CHC screws
M12x20 that hold the right protection on the frame.
While holding the acoustic module, repeat this process with the other side.
The acoustic module can be removed from the frame assembly.
