III.5 Releasing the HD100
III.5.1 A

Note
The TT801 is necessary for the releasing operation. Check and recharge the remote
control unit the day before operation (refer to the TT801 user guide).
When the HD100 has been prepared (with the safety pin removed), deployed and that the
release order has been sent with the TT801 (please refer to the TT801 user guide):
•
The fork-shaped hook (ref.: 910 2893A), freed, rotates around its pin held in
position by the cheeks (ref.: 910 2709), and frees the hook (ref.: 910 2715).
•
The hook (ref.: 910 2715) pivots around the pin (ref.: 910 2727) freeing the oval link
(ref.: 910 2719). Release is now effective.
Actual releasing can be assessed by:
•
The cable tension which becomes weak
•
A surveillance ROV during the deployment operation
The HD100 releasing unit comes up to the surface and can be retrieved.
Note
If the command is not received, resume the procedure. If no response is received, refer
to recommendations listed in section III.2
