sanding sheet beat any dust etc. out
of contact fastener on sanding plate.
∙
Lay new sanding paper tightly over sanding
plate, ensuring that holes in sanding plate and paper
correspond.
∙
Coarse sand paper (grain 50) removes in general
the bigger part of the material and fine sand paper (grain
120) is used for the finishing.

The plate (4) has to be replaced when the velcro has
been worn out.

plate disconnect the device from the
mains plug.

concentrations of dust in the ambient air,
and facilitates disposal.
It is necessary to use the dust bag (6) to gather the dust.
It is necessary to empty the dust bag in time.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
∙
P
lace tool with entire sanding face in contact with
workpiece.
∙
Switch on tool and guide it in broad circular
movements over surface to be sanded.
∙
Do not apply additional pressure to tool when
sanding, the tool is usually heavy enough itself to
guarantee optimum speed and good finish.
WARNING! Do not tilt! Sand in several
stages, using a finer grain size each
time.
SPEED SELECTION
With the thumbwheel (5) the required speed can be
selected (also while running). The required speed is
dependent on the material and can be determined
with practical trials. After longer periods of work at low
speed, allow the machine to cool by running for approx.
3 minutes at maximum speed with no load.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Before any work on the device itself,
pull the mains plug.
∙
Always keep the tool and the ventilation slots (if
present) cleaned. Regular cleaning and maintenance of
the appliance will ensure efficiency and prolong the life
of your tool.
∙
If the tool should fail despite the rigorous
manufacturing and testing procedures, the repair should
be carried out by an authorized IVT customer service.
∙
Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight, to be sure the
tool is in safe working condition.
∙
Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
∙
Use only original spare parts. Parts not produced
by manufacturer may cause poor fit and possible injury.
∙
Store the tool in a dry room out of reach of kids and
away from any flammable material.
∙
Never wet the device or spray water on it!
∙
Use only mild soap and a slightly damp cloth to
clean the sander. Many household cleaners contain
chemicals which could seriously damage the plastic.
Do not use petrol, turpentine, lacquer, paint thinners or
similar products.
