The DAYTONA is a full reflex wing regardless of trim position.
During takeoff we recommend setting the trims between 0% (closed tri-
mmers, with the risers in neutral position), and 25% (first marker) of the
trimmers’ adjustable play.
Once airborne, the trimmers full adjustable range is usable in calm air up
to moderately turbulent air. In very turbulent conditions (strong shears, gra-
dients, thermals ...) see «Flying in turbulence» on page 40.
Once the 50% trimmer in standard setting and 25% with Evo Kit release
mark is exceeded, we recommend using the TST exclusively as the main
toggle controls become harder to handle and lose their effectiveness.
For this reason, particular attention was paid to the TST to give the DAYTO-
NA great maneuverability, precision and flexibility.
On landing, we recommend to re-trimming the wing below 25% to reduce
the approach ground speed. Progressive braking (with the main brake) will
provide a nice decrease in air speed and an exemplary ground effect.
More experienced pilots will be able to try out long flares by releasing the
trimmers slightly before touchdown.

CONTROLS / TST
The accelerator/speed-bar is usable over the entire trim range. As with tri-
mmers use, and for as long as the accelerator/speed-bar is activated, we
recommend using the TST controls rather than the
main toggles for the same above reasons.
