6. REPLACING AND CHARGING BATTERIES

6.1. REPLACING THE BATTERY
If the message shown in Figure 15 is
displayed on the dynamometer display,
replace or recharge the battery according to
the procedure described below.

Replacing alkaline batteries
Replace the batteries as follows: loosen the screws (A, Fig. 16), remove the cover (B) and pull out the
battery holder (C) from the housing (F) without pulling the cable (E) too strongly. Hold the battery holder
firmly with your hands, remove all 6 batteries (D) and replace them with new ones. When inserting new
batteries, please pay attention to the polarity indicated in the battery holder by means of the respective
labels. Then, insert the battery holder (C) in the housing (F) again and fasten the cover (B) with the
screws (A). When mounting the cover (B), make sure the cable (E) is not pinched or squeezed.
