The brake status and coupling
status can be as follows:
The status of the coupling is “unknown” during the intermediate stages between its being en-
gaged and released. Moreover, if the coupling is used manually, the status continues to be given
as “unknown” after release and engaging (because the toothed wheels are tooth against tooth,
but not coupled): you need to jog the loom in slow motion to get the “coupled” status.
