5.3 PRELIMINARY
CLEANOUT
With machine off and beater front lid closed, let water in the barrel.
Select the function CLEANOUT and let the beater run the least in order avoid a useless wear of
sliding shoes and cylidner.
Drain all water from the cylinder, open its lid so as to remove the beater.
5.4 BEATER
DISASSEMBLY
Using both hands, remove the beater by delicately pulling outwards, taking care not to damage
it and knock parts of the cylinder.

Remove
the
stuffi ng box from its seat on the beater shaft
pos. 28.
•
Wash the parts disasembled with water and
XSAN
solution; rinse.
•
Reassemble the pieces taking care to lightly grease the
beater shaft with Carpilube food grade lubricant.
5.4.1 Stuffi ng box
On disassembling beater also check wholeness of stuffi ng
box; depending on machine operation length, it is neces-
sary to replace it through the spare one to be found in the
accessory kit inside machine packing.

Remove beater assembly
•
Remove
stuffi ng box from its seat
•
Lubricate spare stuffi ng box
•
Mount the new stuffi ng box
•
Clean and lubricate the old stuffi ng box and put it away
for recovery of its elasticity.

To reassemble the beater, hold it with both your hands and deeply push and rotate it so as to insert
the shaft into its seat thoroughly.
AWARNING
Carry out this operation with utmost care, since beater may be damaged in case it falls to
the ground.
