Apply superglue to the inner faces of one of the black plastic end caps
Push and rotate onto the locknut until flush with the washer. NB: this must be done immediately as
the glue sets within 10 seconds Repeat steps 11 and 12 for the second locknut
Note: It is possible to fit this kit to your existing trolley using two spanners. It may aid the fitting of
the kit KT061 if, when disassembled, the locknut attached to the crossbar is fitted into a vice or
clamp—this frees one hand to centralise the small spacer in the trolley whilst using your other hand
to balance the trolley

Place cam assembly into frame

Ensure the cam is fitted in the correct orientation (Fig 2a & b)

Place the sleeve into the bush within the cam assembly

Place the screw through the end cap

Ensure the endcap sits within the hole in the trolley frame

Push the screw through the sleeve

Place the second endcap on the opposite end of the screw

Ensure the endcap sits within the hole in the trolley

Place the new (unused) nyloc nut onto the end of the thread and, using the tools listed,
tighten (hand tight)

The spring-loaded button and the sleeve should be oiled regularly, using a small amount of light
oil (remove any excess oil with a cloth)
I ZipSpeed Xtreme Fender

The fender can be fitted in either orientation to suit the impact braking system

The fender is fitted using the existing spacer screws shown in (1). Screws to be tightened to 8Nm.
J ZipSpeed Xtreme ARC Cam

Screw the threaded ‘sprung plunger’ into the side frame until protruding into the inside. Lock in
place with the washer and lock nut. Assemble the ‘air paddle’ limit screw assembly (nut, screw, 2X
washers) through the frame with the nut on the inside

Initially leave this spacer out whilst inserting the ‘air paddle’ subassembly - this will allow the pin to
be placed into the small pin hole in the frame. Insert the ‘air paddle’ subassembly inbetween the 2
sideframes, placing the pin into the small hole

Once the ‘air paddle’ subassembly is in place, position this spacer into the gap and align with the
screw

Adjust the ‘sprung plunger’ position so that the ‘air paddle is free to rotate back and forth but re
-
quires manual force to push the ‘air paddle’ forward into the storage position. Tighten the long screw,
washers, but ensure the ‘Air Paddle’ is free to rotate

The replaceable cam is supplied fitted with 2 bronze bushes. Place the inner steel sleeve inside
the bushes and align with the screw, washers and nut. Ensure the long screw passes through the
washer, steel sleeve (the steel sleeve should be longer than the combined bush length, so that it
protrudes from either end) ( inside the bronze bushes and cam), second washer and nut

Tighten the nut and screw until the frames stop on the inner sleeve. Ensure the Cam rotates freely
