This connection check is performed in the connection check intervals specified in the modem settings.
Changing the interval as well as checking the current value is only possible via AT commands.
By default, Yandex ( www.ya.ru with port 80) and Google public DNS server (8.8.8.8 with port 53) are used
as a public server to verify connections.
Set addresses of test servers for TCP/IP connection check using the
Settings → Basic
tab of the ATM Con-
trol utility.
4.19.4. SMS notification on IP Address Change
The server modem supports sending of SMS messages to the specified phone number reporting on an IP
address change. The server modem sends an SMS message at the first connection and at each subsequent
connection when the current IP address differs from the previous one. IP address can be changed due to SIM
card change or when using a SIM card with a dynamic public IP address.
SMS message sending on the server modem IP address change can be enabled in the tab
Settings → Ad-
vanced
→
Connect of the ATM Control utility.
