Clicking on “

” opens up a maintenance window that has some further information about the
channel wavelength, indicative power levels and laser/detector temperatures:
Temperature is measured in degrees Celsius.
The power levels are indicative levels as reported by the laser and detector modules. These reading are
approximate, however, to convert these readings to dBm measurements, apply the following formula:
dBm measurement = 10log(Power Reading/10000)
For example, based on the table above,
Channel_01 power reading = 14860.
10log(14860/10000) = 1.72dBm (Tx laser output power level);
Channel_09 power reading = 604.
10log(604/10000) = -12.2dBm (Rx detector input power level).
