8 Grounding Concept

For maximum EMC protection and reliable application, use a shielded cable. Also, the sensor has to be grounded.
We recommend the grounding concept as shown in the picture. Ground the sensor with a toothed washer between

the screw head and the sensor.

9 Service Notes

The PT65 requires no maintenance apart from keeping the front windows clean. Dust or fingerprints can impair the

sensor function. It is normally sufficient to wipe the windows dry with a clean (!), soft cloth. Alcohol or soapy water may

be used for heavy soiling.
