5.4 How to reset the factory settings using the external teach input
To reset the sensor to factory settings via the external teach input is equivalent to the rest procedure via the button.
Connect the external teach input line to +V

(brown line) instead of pressing the button. There is no 5min. time limit.
The sensor may be taught at any time After finishing the teach-procedure, connect the external teach input line to 0V.
