The System Tab provides a means to create a custom name for the system. To do this simply enter your
custom name in the custom name box and click the
Save button. The Custom Name can be used for
identifying hardware in some VMS platforms or custom applications. The bottom section also allows you
to set the appropriate time zone and synchronize the device’s time.
11.2 Network
The
Network tab allows you to set the network settings for all network interfaces on the appliance.
11.2.1 Network Interfaces
Each of the first 6 network interfaces, 1 thru 6, are configured independently. The last 4 network
interfaces, 7 thru 10, are switched and managed as such. Each interface should be configured to use
static IP addresses or DHCP depending on its intended use and the corresponding device that it is
connected to. The default configuration for all interfaces is set to use DHCP.
