INSTALLATION
Note:
The polystyrene spacer, if still in, and any dirt residue must be removed from the tele-
scopic tube before the fan housing is fitted. Also, the 2-wire cable for connecting the fan to
the PSU must be wired at the designated place (7).
1.
Remove the housing screen (1) and housing cover (2) from the fan housing (3). Undo the two screws to
remove the housing cover. The housing screen is clipped on.
2.
Before final installation, drill four holes (Ø 6mm) in the wall for the wall attachment (9). To do this, position
the fan housing into the telescopic tube (6) from the interior wall side, align it and mark the places for
drilling at the four external holes for wall attachment (9) of the fan housing. Remove the fan housing, drill
the wall holes and insert the dowels (included).
3.
Position the fan housing (3), including nonreturn valve (5), into the telescopic tube (6) from the interior
wall side. Before pushing the housing all the way to the wall, route the 2-wire cable for the fan and PSU
connection through the cable feedthrough hole (7).
4.
Push the fan housing all the way to the wall and attach it to the masonry using the four screws (included)
at the four external holes for wall attachment (9).
5.
Connect the cable in the fan housing to the connectors provided. Information on this is in Section Elec-
trical connection on Page 23.
6.
Refit the housing screen (1) and housing cover (2).
