SECTION 17—ON/OFF SWITCH
Replacing On/Off Switch
DANGER
To
prevent
electrical
shock,
ALWAYS
disconnect
concentrator
from
electrical
outlet
before
servicing.
NOTE:
For
this
procedure,
refer
to
FIGURE 17.1
on
page 62.
1. Unplug
unit.
2. Remove
cabinet.
Refer
to
Removing
Cabinet
on
page 23.
3. Remove
control
panel.
Refer
to
Removing
Control
Panel
on
page 53.
4. Remove
and
code
the
four
spade
connectors
from
back
of
existing
On/Off
switch.
5. Compress
retaining
grips
on
back
of
existing
On/Off
switch
and
push
switch
out
through
front
of
control
panel.
NOTE:
Ensure
proper
orientation
of
the
On/Off
(
)
switch
and
wiring
connections
before
installation.

and

below.
CAUTION
DO
NOT
install
the
On/Off
(I/O)
switch
upside
down.
Universal
Off
(O)
symbol
should
be
at
bottom
and
Universal
On
(I)
symbol
should
be
at
the
top.
Possible
damage
to
the
concentrator
may
result
if
not
properly
installed.
6. Reverse
STEP

to
secure
new
On/Off
(
)
switch.
7. Reinstall
control
panel.
