Setting Up LAN Properties
The following illustration shows the LAN section of the
Channel properties dialog box.

To set up LAN properties for the channel, do the following:
1. Complete information in the fields in the LAN section
of the Channel properties dialog box as follows:
a. Check the TCP/IP and/or IPX/SPX fields to select
the protocols to be routed through this channel. At
least one protocol must be selected.
b. If the TCP/IP protocol is selected, in the TCP/IP
Address field, enter the TCP/IP address of the
remote equipment in dotted decimal format.
c. If the IPX/SPX protocol is selected, in the IPX/SPX
Node Address field, enter the IPX/SPX address of
the remote equipment (12 hexadecimal digits).
2. To set up properties for the selected LAN protocol(s),
do the following:
a. In the LAN section of the Channel properties dialog
box, click the
Properties button.
